Ethiopian Civil Service University has won the United Nations Public Service Award in category five, which is ¨ Promoting Gender-Responsive Delivery of Public Service¨. The university`s project has been selected from a range of projects from African Region, one of the five regions which the United Nations Public Administration Programme categorized. The process has taken quite some time and the university’s Gender and Development Center has availed all the necessary documents for their consideration, which helped the University win the contest.

HAMU provided sensitization training to Ministry of Urban development and Construction civil servants on how to mainstream HIV/AIDS interventions on their daily work On April 19, 2013. The one hour sensitization training was offered to 370 civil servants of Ministry of Urban development and construction. Among these participants, eighty two of them women and two hundred eighty eight were men.
TOT Training was organized by HAMU as part of its BSC plan. It was facilitated and organized by the unit in two cycles for two days with the objective of enhancing the knowledge, attitudes and improving behaviors/practices of ECSU student community.
